In production, size matters. So do the materials and methods. A logo or text looks crisper and reads better when proper decisions are made before designing and sending the first mockup to the client.
Because my career began in production and I ran my own studio and production brokerage for many years, I know what works, which questions to ask suppliers, and what advice to give my clients.
I successfully designed and supervised the production of a wide range of promotional materials, using the optimal techniques to achieve the best results: embroidery, digital UV, offset, digital, screen, and pad printing, laser engraving, heat transfer vinyl, etc.
Sometimes, adding only a logo or a website to an object isn't enough. Getting creative with colors and base materials makes the objects pop and encourages users actually to use them, which increases brand awareness.
To me, good is never enough. Excellent is always the target. The experience I have accumulated helps me understand what is feasible to execute and what the limits are.
